Orticola 2013

Oggi a Milano c'è l'inagurazione di Orticola, la mostra mercato di fiori e piante più chic dell'anno.
Da domani è aperta al pubblico, ma intanto oggi accompagno la mamma, che è socia, a veder piante, gente e gran cappelli.
Questo è un disegno che avevo fatto per la scorsa edizione, stasera vedrò di trovare altri soggetti!

Today here in Milan it's Orticola day! The chichest flower show and market of the year.
It's open to the public from tomorrow, but today I get to go see the opening thanks to my mom. 
So I'll be off to search some inspiration for more drawings, see beautiful flowers, lovely ladies and fantastic hats!

Tazze e tovagliette

Vi ricordate le tovagliette delle verdure di tanto, tanto tempo fa?
Saranno in vendita alla festa di fine anno alla Scuola Diaz di Milano (casualmente, la scuola di due dei miei bambini) e i proventi andranno tutti a favore della scuola stessa, speriamo che piacciano!
Per l'occasione abbiamo deciso di fare anche una tazza coordinata, questa volta con dei biscottini.

 

Ci saranno anche un'altra tazza e tovaglietta, con uno stile un po' diverso... che vedrete in un altro post!

Do you remember those veggies placemats from long, long ago?
Well they will be printed in large quantities and on sale at my sons' school party at the beginning of June. I really hope they'll do well, as all the money goes towards the school, which really needs all the help we can get !
For the occasion, I also designed this matching cup and made another placemat/cup combo that I'll show you soon!
